Hats Off to the organisation  O. Henry Museum Pun-Off World Championships .  Every year since 1977 they have been meeting to decide the champion Punsters.

This year in 2017  there was a tie for 1st place between Southpaw Jones and Toby Miceli-Gwiazdowski each scoring 40-points and it was the audience applause which gave first place to Southpaw Jones.    http://punoff.com/     for up to date details.
